PeterJi was born in 1951 in Sydney. He began his spiritual search at a young age questioning the meaning of life. In 1975, he met his first master in India and practised various meditation techniques. In 1980 at the ashram he experienced a profound awakening. This created an ongoing presence in him which deeply changed his life. He later returned to the West and lived a simple life with his partner April Mai.

He realised that his spiritual sadhana wasn’t complete and in 1986 he began doing long retreats with two Burmese Buddhist masters. This intensive practice continued for eight years. Around the same time he met a western master. This opened his eyes to a new possibility that tantra was a very valid path to enlightenment. He practised this teaching with April Mai exploring the depths of relationship in new ways. From that point on he united the paths of love and meditation realising that these created the wholistic spiritual life he had longed for.

In 1991 he began teaching a small group of people who had gathered around him. Three years later he realised that the depth of enlightenment had come to fruition. From this profoundly still state, and with his masters’ blessings he began to teach more widely.

He now travels in response to requests from people for practical and spiritual solutions to their lives. In demystifying the spiritual search he combines eastern and western approaches. This unique style appeals to people from all backgrounds.

An energetic presence can be felt from one who lives from fearlessness. PeterJi inspires others to discover for themselves the benediction of love and truth.
